(Distinctions are subtleties of language that, when gotten, cause a shift in a belief, behavior, value or attitude.)

One attracts success; if you attempt to acquire it, success will be elusive. This one’s tough, especially for entrepreneurs who generally binge on creating, taking, winning and owning.

Attract means to cause to draw near, to arouse the interest, admiration or attention of; acquire means to gain possession.

In the ranking of things, acquire is probably better than promotion, seduction or winning, yet it still has the tinge of ownership, assets and taking; it’s still an active process.

Attraction, on the other hand, is what you end up with when you stop seducing, acquiring and creating and when you start serving, taking care of Self, start being values-based, etc.

Attraction, like gravity or magnetic energy is natural; acquisition requires effort.

There’s nothing wrong with acquiring anything. The subtlety here is to have what you want “bring itself” to you and for you to not see this occurrence as a win or as YOU having done it.

Ownership is a reflect of the Ego/Mind, given ownership is a proven source of comfort and a mitigator of risk. Again, nothing is wrong with ownership, but ownership is not life.
