(Principles are basic truths that, when applied, cause success to come to you easier and quicker.)

10 ITEMS: 1. Your phone (or email) rings regularly with friends and associates who have a great business idea for you. All you have to do is to say Yes, because you have good reason/track record to trust them.

2. Every business venture/project you are in is sustainably profitable, both because your overhead/expenses are low, and because there is a demand for your product or service. Stop trying to create success; instead, first be successful with what you ALREADY have.

3. You spend 30% of your time creating the “what’s next” on your own; 70% or more of your creation occurs from being in relationship with your customers and colleagues, responding to what they want, whether they can articulate what they most want, or not. Get your clue from your customers, not your Ego (read: creativeness, intellect, gifts).

4. You have plenty of cash in the bank and are not extensively leveraged. A reserve of cash is ESSENTIAL for you to BE successful instead of DOING success.

5. Your business ventures almost never have problems and you haven’t cast yourself in the role of worry-er, problem-solver, arsonist-firefighter. Make your company(ies) and your life a PFZ: Problem-Free Zone.

6. You know where your energy comes from and it’s a healthy place. You’ve graduated from adrenaline, shame, fear, need satisfaction, proving anything, competition and winning. Instead, you a) have enough energy already (a reserve) so you don’t need to use your business as a source of energy for you personally, and b) your internal systems are sensitive enough to live off peace, happiness, love, service and life. (It’s possible!)

7. Money is not the primary, or even secondary, motivator in your life. In other words, either you’ve made your bucks or you live simply and have elected not to get engaged in the money thing. Either way, or somewhere in the middle, is great. But do be aware to what degree money motivates you.

8. You have a vision that’s far bigger than you, your abilities or your bank account. A vision is the piece of the future that is so clear and evident to you that will come true for humanity that it’s just obvious.

9. You know what your strengths are and you enjoy these. And, you delegate EVERYTHING that is not a strength of yours to someone else for whom it is. NO exceptions. This is often THE most challenging of these 10 items.

10. You are loved. What is success without love? If you’re successful, but your family, friends, community, customers and others don’t love you, then find out why. You need to know.

Now: Pick one or more of the above items and apply it by the end of today!
