S:0137 Distinction: Attraction vs. Action

(Distinctions are subtleties of language that, when gotten, cause a shift in a belief, behavior, value or attitude.)

To take action is useful. Action is what you do that produces results. Always be willing to take action to create the results you want.

However, when you tire of exerting energy and influence to create results, notice that you can attract what you want. Attraction is what comes to you naturally as a result of who you are. People and situations are attracted to you more for who you are than for the actions you take. Attraction is another level of personal development.

Action without attraction is tiring and limited in its effectiveness. If you don’t like what you are attracting, change who you are.
