(Distinctions are subtleties of language that, when gotten, cause a shift in a belief, behavior, value or attitude.)
While lots of people want to be wealthy, there are also many who feel something is wrong with it.
When you are materialistic you find meaning in “stuff.” It s a way to feel good about yourself. Your attention is on the “it” which you have.
Wealth is a different state of mind. When you are wealthy you may have many things, but your focus is on who you are and the life you are here to lead. The stuff you accumulate is merely a part of your journey. You may enjoy it. You may be glad you have it. But you are not defined by it. Your meaning comes from a deeper place.
Can you be wealthy?
