S:0459 Distinction: Desire vs. Discipline

(Distinctions are subtleties of language that, when gotten, cause a shift in a belief, behavior, value or attitude.)

Have you ever wanted something so much that you did extraordinary things to have it? Sure you have, and your actions may have even surprised you when you looked back on them.

That s desire at work. When you have a strong desire for an outcome, it will pull you past disbelief, fear, doubt — all the thoughts which might have stopped you if your desire was not strong enough.

Discipline is a different energy. Discipline pushes you to achieve. You can be successful, achieving great outcomes, using discipline. If discipline is already a standard tool for you, add the energy of desire and see your outcomes happen quicker and easier.

If you are not a disciplined person, and many people are not, focus your energy on what you desire and watch yourself achieve great things, also.
