(Distinctions are subtleties of language that, when gotten, cause a shift in a belief, behavior, value or attitude.)

When was the last time you heard an idea and thought, “I knew that”?

You took a class, or read a book, or listened to an audio program and got a bunch of new plans, actions, and ideas and then, when you returned to your routine, let them fade into the hum of business-as-usual. We all do that.

Well, not all. Some people actually implement their new ideas. There is a name for them, they’re called “successful!”

Knowing an idea is one thing. Doing something about it is another. It feels great when you hear something that is still new to others and you can say to yourself, “I do that.”
