Coaching Point: Most people don’t ask for what they want because they’re afraid of some “negative” outcome such as rejection. Or they’re afraid of acceptance and then they’ll have to perform. Or they’re unsure. Or they feel that it’s not polite to ask. Or….. Why are you not asking and what has it cost you? More importantly, what are you going to start asking for now?
