(Principles are basic truths that, when applied, cause success to come to you easier and quicker.)
Two great tools of highly successful people are: they have a short-term memory for failure and a long-term memory for success.
Everyone has the experience of having a desired outcome not work out, a “failure,” if you will. Have you noticed that people who dwell on their failures — revisit them, talk about them, wallow in them, suffer over them — never seem to be successful in the long run? It’s a huge waste of time.
Go be a great performer most of your time. Self-evaluate a small percentage of your time.
Learn from what happens, course-correct, and move on. Focus on achieving what you want. People who keep their successes in mind stay motivated, try new ideas quicker, and win more.
