(Principles are basic truths that, when applied, cause success to come to you easier and quicker.)

Context is the set of conditions in which something occurs or is created.

Context defines you. Context confines you.

If you know someone primarily from seeing them at the gym, in gym clothes, several mornings a week and then pass them on the street dressed differently, you may not immediately recognize them. The reason is because they are out of context. At least, out of the context within which you normally hold them.

In like manner, you hold yourself in a certain context. Context is about how you see yourself. Rich or lacking. Open or fearful. Creative or victim. Infinite or finite. Connected or cut off.

It’s easy to be attached to your context because it’s familiar and safe, but if you want to have a more fulfilling life, first find ways to pierce and then change the context within which you now see yourself.

Coaching Point: What is one change you’ve already made in your context? What’s one change you’re ready for now?
