(Principles are basic truths that, when applied, cause success to come to you easier and quicker.)
It’s hard to hand-craft ordinary.
You can get an ordinary hamburger from a high-volume restaurant chain, or ordinary kitchen cabinets from a mega-home improvement store, or an ordinary bunch of flowers from a large grocery store.
But when something is hand-crafted it has a special energy and that energy becomes available to you, if you appreciate what hand-crafted means. Yes, that sounds like circular logic and in a way it is.
The person who cares to create something meaningful puts a part of him or herself into the product or service. It’s not a “should.” They like to do this. They want to do this. In fact, most hand-crafters must do this! It’s a joy for them.
The receiver who appreciates this extra, senses and notices it when they see it. It’s added value to them.
It’s hard to hand-craft ordinary.
When you see yourself as hand-crafting your life, your business, your relationships, you move beyond ordinary. And that’s a pretty special place to be.
