“May the Farce be with you.” Huh?

In the Star Wars movies the line is, “May the Force be with you.” The movie line refers to some unseen, powerful, prevailing resource available to help you have your life be better. Whether you agree with that or not, there is another undeniable force at work in your life. It is also unseen, powerful, and prevailing, and it affects your life at least as much as the Force.

It is the stories you’ve made up that are not true. Self-limiting beliefs like: “I can’t.” “That’s scary.” “I’m afraid.” “I don’t know how.”

These stories — these farces — keep you imprisoned. These stories keep you from experiencing all that you really are, from performing optimally, from enjoying the full expression of your life.

In the artistic world a farce includes an element of comedy, but you are probably not laughing at your self-limiting stories and certainly not at the results of them.

May the Farce be with you? No. It’s may the Farce NOT be with you!

Look into your stories. Resolve them. Break free from the Farce.

Coaching Point: What is one story you’re telling yourself right now that just simply is not true?
