(Principles are basic truths that, when applied, cause success to come to you easier and quicker.)
There are many forms of blindness; this S3MC is about the blindness which comes from being judgmental.
When I am being judgmental it means I am holding a position. I know what’s right. A position which doesn’t agree with mine is therefore wrong. I don’t have a lot of flexibility when I’m being judgmental.
That means information which shows up that agrees with me I accept. Contrary information I reject. It is that rejection of input which leads to blindness.
I can hold to my beliefs, my position, but when I let go of being judgmental it allows me to see more. To see, to be aware, provides a greater space for me to learn and grow.
Coaching Point: Where are you judgmental? Where are you blind?
