Meditation – don’t give it much thought.
Steve Straus

Coaching Point: Of course, meditation is not about thinking.

Meditation and thinking are two very different activities. In fact, meditation is not an activity! It’s an intentional state of being.

Meditation transcends thinking. For some – and classically – meditation is about no-thought, an absence of thinking, complete stillness of mind. That is effective.

Easier meditation for most – and just as effective – is to allow your busy mind to continue to think, but choose to become aware of the silent background which is beyond the thinking activity.

Whatever technique you use to meditate, and there are countless, enjoy the peace, guidance, support, and clarity which meditation provides. It adds immeasurably to your thinking.

What are you thinking about meditation, right now?
