Skepticism doesn’t help you see. Or hear. Or feel. It does have its uses, but is best served in small portions.
To be open can be hard. If you’re not careful you might get hurt, taken advantage of, or used. Open has its downsides.
But open is the best way to learn, expand, grow, and contribute. Open enlightens and uplifts. Open engages and supports.
A little occasional dose of skeptical is useful, but skeptical is closed.
Open is, well, open.
