(Great fears are barriers to experiencing your real life.)

We all want to win. The definition of winning differs for each of us. Even people who claim to not be interested in winning are. They simply have another name for it.

To win is to experience an outcome which is meaningful to you.

The fear of not winning is the fear of not getting an outcome which you feel you must have in order to be okay. If you did not hold it in this light, then there would be no fear of not getting it.

That’s the key to this Great Fear – having an attachment to an outcome. Attachment occurs when you must have the outcome. Without the attachment, there is no fear. It will either occur (how nice) or it won’t (okay, next).
