(Great questions lead to great answers; weak questions, weak ones.)

“Am I moving at the speed of peace?”

Coaching Point: The “speed of peace” is when you are moving at exactly the speed which offers no resistance.

Move too fast, you’re trying to force an outcome; never a good idea. Forcing outcomes is the source of countless problems. (Don’t ask me how I know this. Sigh….)

Move too slowly and it may be because you’re avoiding feeling something uncomfortable, scary, doubtful, or unknown. Or you may not be feeling anything at all, thus not taking advantage of the guidance your intuition has for you. Move too slowly and you miss opportunities.

An analogy: Picture a surfer riding a great wave, neither struggling behind the crest (forcing) nor overwhelmed by the wave crashing down on him or her (at the effect-of).

The speed of peace is that sweet spot which is, well, the sweet spot. Difficult to articulate, but easy to recognize when you’re in it.

It’s when your awareness is clearer than the noise.

What do you do to move at the speed of peace?
