(Great questions lead to great answers; weak questions, weak ones.)
“What is my greatest unrequited desire?”
Coaching Point: It has been said that desire is the source of all suffering, however this S3MC looks at a desire not yet experienced as a good thing.
Of course, if you are suffering because something you want is never going to happen in your life, then indeed let it go. That’s a desire which probably has no useful purpose.
On the other hand, it can be useful to notice when you have a desire. It can motive you. Help you plan. Prompt you to ask for assistance. Looking at it can provide increased clarity, unrecognized aspects of the desire.
With that kind of desire all you typically need is to take the first step. Don’t over plan. And don’t ‘wait until all the lights are green from here all the way to there before heading out’! The universe rewards action.
What is your greatest unrequited desire? Do you need to let go of it? Or take an action to get it?
