(Principles are basic truths that, when applied, cause success to come to you easier and quicker.)
Skepticism is a useful tool, in moderation. But, like any talent, it can be overdone. And any talent overdone can become a hindrance.
Problems with skepticism arise when it becomes a default approach to life. Smaller doses work better. Much as the spices in a tasty recipe enhance the meal but are not the point of the meal. The meal is the point of the meal.
Skepticism overdone can blind us to new ideas, new approaches, new outcomes. Remembering that what we look for largely determines what we see, looking too much through the lens of skepticism can block opportunities for fresh and engaging new possibilities.
Skepticism doesn’t help your vision and hearing!
