Coaching Point: Okay, I get it, this quote can be controversial, but hang in there a bit and let’s see what wisdom it has to offer.

Every highly successful person I’ve gotten to know – everyone! – has studied, planned, attempted, and adjusted until they achieved what they wanted in each particular part of their life.

Many of them did so while engaged full time in some other job or activity. They carved out time and energy to work toward their positive outcome. And they didn’t quit.

On the other hand, do you know of people who talk about not having some outcome, but who don’t do anything toward it? They are not at cause. They are at effect.
