(Great questions lead to great answers; weak questions, weak ones.)

“Do I have a support system
or do I have to support a system?”

Coaching Point: A support system – at least an effective one – is a multi-faceted structure. Multiple parts of a whole, each acting for a different purpose. That’s what makes it a ‘system.’

Do you have a support system? One you designed and evolved? Which wants to support you? How’s it working for you?

Or do you have to support a system? Meaning, are yours the shoulders the system requires in order to continue to function?

Imagine yourself spending a day in each of those scenarios, one carrying you the other carried by you.

How does it feel at the end of each of those very different days?
