(Quotes are capsules of information, reinforcement, or enlightenment.)

“Lovers don’t need to always understand each other,
as long as they’re understanding of each other.”

Rudolph Lambert Fernandez

Coaching Point: You never know where wisdom will make itself obvious! This quote was in a review of the now decades-old Oscar-winning movie “Children of a Lesser God.”

The reviewer’s simple line explodes with truth.

‘Understand’ is more of a thinking process. ‘Being understanding’ is more feeling.

To merely understand can leave you separate-from. Being understanding is inclusive, connecting.

To understand is cool, logical. Being understanding is warm, feeling-based.

Of the people who are important in your life, do you make a point of being understanding of them even when you may not always understand them?
