Coaching Point: This can be tough to do when going through tough times. And Whitman was not saying we should whistle past the graveyard. Pretending nothing is wrong.

Instead, he is reminding us to look beyond now to what is possible next.

And if now is pretty great? Keep facing the sunshine. And be grateful.
