(Great questions lead to great answers; weak questions, weak ones.)
“What do I have to look forward to?”
Coaching Point: You do have something you’re looking forward to, don’t you? Something interesting, maybe even exciting? Something which pulls you forward in healthy anticipation?
Or do most days seem to be only attempts to escape? To diminish some discomfort?
Notice the different energy in those two viewpoints. The ‘pulls’ add energy, the ‘pushes’ drain it.
‘Looking forward to’ can get you excited.
‘Looking forward to’ can pull you through some pretty yucky stuff.
‘Looking forward to’ helps you notice new resources.
Can you see yourself asking this Great Question at the start – and end – of each day?
