(Principles are basic truths that, when applied, cause success to come to you easier and quicker.)
This is not a grammar lesson about past tense, present tense, and future tense.
This is about your state of being when you are present/here/now.
Now is the only real moment. Past and future are mere mental constructs. However, most people most of their time are not really present. Not in Now.
They are being pulled out of now by a clingy past or are living in the future (in their mind) hoping it will be better than now.
The irony is a well-done Now is rich beyond imagining.
Being tense is a strong indicator that you are not living a well-done Now. And that tenseness is a gift for you. Being tense is a present-moment experience.
When you notice yourself being tense, it gives you the option of letting go of past thoughts, if they are the ones triggering the tenseness. Or of letting go of attachment to the future. (humm…attached to something which hasn’t even happened. A movie. A mirage.)
