(Great questions lead to great answers; weak questions, weak ones.)

“What’s Next?”

Coaching Point: This question has had a profound (positive) effect on many people. Its power seems to be in its simplicity.

What’s Next has focusing power like a child’s simple magnifying glass in sunlight. Diffused sunlight energy transforms into a powerful and usable form. The focusing power of What’s Next is like that.

Ever have a to-do list longer than you could get to-done to-day? What is one of the energies that can arise from a too-long list? Feelings of overwhelm. Managing the list can be a to-do item in itself.

Try this for one week. Just one week! As each day unfolds, regularly ask, “What’s Next?” After each task. At any moment when the thought comes to you. Doesn’t matter. Simply ask the question frequently throughout the day.

Instead of feeling overwhelmed by your long list, you will start to receive ‘guidance’ on the next best use of your time, energy, and resources.

Within one week, you will find yourself responding rather than chasing. Getting things done rather than struggling. Probably even resetting some of your priorities.

One week for What’s Next?
