What you prefer needs no justification. You prefer it; that’s it. Preferring comes from within.
The same is true for the preferences that others have. That is their business.
Many people seem to think it is useful to judge and attempt to correct others. When you judge others for their preferences, it uses (wastes?) some of your energy.
Instead, enjoy the clarity that comes from asking yourself, “What do I prefer?” That will help you focus your energy on having outcomes you like.
