(Principles are basic truths that, when applied, cause success to come to you easier and quicker.)

Transformed people transform people.

In other words, instead of trying to change people from the way they are into the way you want them to be, change yourself.

Gandhi gets credit for, “Be the change you wish to see in the world.”

If we already know this, why is it so hard to do?

It is mainly a need to be right. Or to be in control. Or to be seen as wise. Or some other form of fear. Which is what most neediness is, fear.

It always seems easier to change others than to change ourselves, but it’s not. Look at the data. Look at their stubbornness. They are still doing what you want them to stop doing! Continuing to try to transform them may not be such a good idea. Take a deep breath.

Today, inner work, especially inner transformation, is easier than ever. When you make even a tiny change in yourself, you will find “they” and how they act do not bother you anymore.

Peace!

Coaching Point: What is the biggest thing you want to transform in the world? Then what, in you, needs to transform so it can happen?
