(Great questions lead to great answers; weak questions, weak ones.)
“How curious have I been — lately?”
Coaching Point: You were born curious. It is a natural part of the human condition. Crawling around your new world, you put everything you could grab into your mouth. Your mouth was your most developed sensor.
Then you were curious about dolls, airplanes, swings, bugs, bicycles, balloons, and exploration. Then boys/girls, adventure, and what you could get away with.
Sadly, life happened and you got busy “doing what you were told to do.” So curiosity took a back seat behind a long list of shoulds and musts. Some of those were self-inflicted as you began to set goals and develop who you are.
Goals are great, but did you lose sight of the amazing energy that comes from curiosity? Curiosity is a clean, self-generating source of juice.
Your brain’s left hemisphere handles the details of life. The right hemisphere is the petri dish of curiosity.
Are you creating space, time, and interest for natural curiosity?
