(Principles are basic truths that, when applied, cause success to come to you easier and quicker.)

Recently a restored World War II bomber practiced landings at a nearby airport. The airplane is a B-29, the only one of its kind still in flying condition.

Thousands of this type were built and flown in the war. At times the sky was deafening with the sound of hundreds of them in flight at the same time. Now there is only one.

A scale might descend like this — from abundant to many to some to few to scarce to rare to … only.

Until that last step all the other categories share the attribute of multiple. But only stands apart from them. Only is it. When an only is gone, as it must, then it’s over, something is irretrievably missing.

There’s something special about an only.

Coaching Point: Do you realize you are beyond rare — you are an Only — the only You there is, has ever been, or will ever be?
